Easy to Operate
Once the Scope Cam adapter is attached to your scope, all you need to do is slide your phone into the holder, fasten it down and unleash your creativity. The Scope Cam allows you to attach it quickly and silently for capturing unforgettable experiences. Adjusting the focus is also quick and simple.
Operation method: It takes a few minutes to learn how to line it up right, but once you do it's easy to use. First, adjust the clamp to fit the eyepiece of your scope, but don't tighten it onto the scope just yet. You'll see why in a minute. Gently slide it back off the eyepiece. Next, put your phone onto the adapter and center it before tightening it. Just snug, not too tight. Then, flip over the adapter and loosen the knob to adjust the arm. Rotate it or adjust it up or down until you get the camera of your phone centered into the circle where the eyepiece will be. Once it's centered, tighten the knob securely. Turn it on the camera and slide the clamp back onto the eyepiece. This allows you to ensure your field of view is clear. You'll have to make sure the black edges of the circle around your field of view are crisp not blurry. This will take a little practice, but it's not difficult. When it's lined up right, tighten the clamp.
Rugged and Durable
The Scope Cam is made from hard anodized, precision machined, aircraft grade aluminum. The all metal construction is durable enough for long time use and makes it able to withstand the toughest weather conditions. The phone clamp is made of high strength nylon plastic which will not scratch your phone.
1 Please be aware that vignetting will occur on all smartphones and may vignette on mirrorless cameras depending on the lens length used. To correct for this, zoom in on your smartphone and zoom in or use a longer camera lens.
2 Step-up and step-down rings may be used for a wider range of supported lenses
